About Us

Start Out Smart Driver Education is one of the top driver education schools in Southern California. Our instructors are what make our school different from the other local driving schools. All of our instructor staff is either current or former law enforcement officers. We are the experts in the field of traffic enforcement. We teach our students to be conservative, defensive, educated, observant drivers. Our staff does not just drive around the neighborhood with the student, we drive out into the community, exposing our students to real life driving conditions with a written curriculum. We provide on-line and in classroom driver education and behind the wheel driver training.  The in classroom driver education is lively and energetic to engage our students, with handouts and study material directly from DMV, for a higher pass rate by the students. Unlike some other driving school's "classroom"  we DO NOT just have our students work out of a "workbook" logging "classroom" time, we teach in our classroom.  Driver training starts at the student's house. Each driving lesson has a written curriculum to expand the student's driving experience during each lesson.  After each lesson, the curriculum and students performance are discussed with the parents so YOU know what is happening with your child.  We offer refresher programs for adults and the mature drivers, too.  Visit our website for 2012 reduced pricing.
