About Us
The tradition of caring which culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1933, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed and expanded to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. In 1992 Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center, and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. Effective January 1, 2004, Corona Regional Medical Center was acquired by Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). The hospital is now a facility on two campuses, providing comprehensive healthcare services. It is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, employs over 1100 trained healthcare workers, and has a Medical Staff of approximately 350 physicians representing over 40 specialties.
