| Massi comes from a family of artists and beauticians, learning
beauty services in salons since she was a young child in Iran. |
| At age 7, Massi's
mother taught her the Persian art of threading, hair design, and hand-made
wigs in her mother's salon. By age 12, Massi used these skills professionally
in addition to freehand hair cutting. By 14, she worked at various salons and
provided her own bridal hair and makeup packages. In 1991, she formalized
over 10 years of cosmetology experience with a license and opened her own
salon. Massi added various specialty makeup certifications in Dubai, UAE and
Turkey in addition to a Novalash® Extension certification. |
| Since coming to
the United States in 2010, she has made it a practice to stay up-to-date on
the latest high-end products and techniques. |
