What we do
Gene installs all types of interior and exterior doors.  Front doors, back doors, garage to house (fire) doors, garage to outside, interior doors, French, Dutch, sliders to French, windows to French or sliders.  Our pricing is competitive, we are neat and organized and often we can complete your project in one day.

Our business history
Our family has a long history of carpenters and specialty door hangers. You can say "it runs in the family" starting with my grandfather, my father and my son. Our skills and trade secrets aren't common in today's workforce, as most door hangers focus on installing pre-fit units and never develop the skills to build a custom door unit. My early training was working on production homes before doors were sold pre-fit/pre-hung. We did nothing but build jambs and install the doors in to the jamb...all day for years. This provided a great training ground to perfect the art of custom door installation and provides us with the expertise to handle any door job!

Experience
Gene began hanging doors working on both track and custom homes over 20 years ago. There was no such thing as a prehung door, therefore he learned ow to build out the jamb and cut the door to fit the opening perfectly.  In 1991, after working for other firms, Gene decided to open his own construction company remodeling homes and commerical offices.  Eventually, he refocused soley on installing doors back when in 1997 when he formed www.Doorinstaller.com, Inc.

What makes us unique
Gene can install blank/slab doors in to your existing opening, if the jambs are in good shape. This saves a lot of money on labor, materials and paint. Most contractors cannot offer this service because they can only install prehung units since they aren't trained door installers can cannot cut the blank/slab door to fit.

Unique sized opening/jamb?  It takes a craftsman to build out a custom opening when you want to use unique materials or creat an odd sized opening. Gene can build your custom sized opening and install the doors and hardware - ALL AT YOUR HOME. We also replace sliding doors and windows with custom fit doors.
